To be honest, we see worse examples of driving than this practically every day on Badlake Hill. Usually when someone cuts the corner like this it is because there are cars parked on the opposite corner which stick out into the road. This is not to excuse the driver in this instance, just that in the great scheme of things, it might be classed as something of a minor misdemeanour.

Well, Lynne, at least you were spared the sight that greeted me early one morning some years ago when I heard a noise outside the kitchen window:  Mr. Brock was outside making a feast of a poor old hedgehog and soon all that was left was a prickly skin. No doubt as part of the 'gentleman's agreement'.

I don't think there would be so much of a problem if one of the original conditions of development had been the provision of a new road into the estate, possibly from the Exeter Road side.

We get enough road rage anyway - ever seen anyone going down Badlake while someone else is coming up? I once got told to get off my own f*****g drive so that someone could pull on to it to get past. (It was a taxi). One woman wouldn't reverse back up the hill because 'she didn't know how to'. A copper would have a field day, if there was ever one around. And Mr. Stone wants to add to the traffic ...
