Yes I see. I can imagine that there is a 'ring' whereby the builders collaborate to keep prices low and don't gazump each other. Daresay there is a kickback in it for the estate agent. I've been quoted an estimate by a local estate agent to place a land plot on their sale books - their suggested price seems unbelievably high. Like, twice what I was envisaging.
