@Lynne - lack of police resources - city of london! Premier league football matches. The only lack of police resources is feet on the street, go to any area of the country and see inspectors and above ranks lording it up in herds.

Needs an independant investigation as to how it was run! This is ratepayer's money being squandered at a time when essential services being cut to the bone and don't get me started about expenses!

A woman had her static caravan stolen from Willand Road, Cullompton between 6pm 22 Nov and 6 am 23 Nov. That was 6 days ago and I have just received this through the Devon and Cornwall ALERT system, yes...6 days ago..not much of an alert more of a 'by the way'. The truck used to take this home had to be quite specific in nature and the experience needed to carry out the theft would require a ...

There needs to be an external investigation into how this playpark fiasco has been dealt with by the local council. The project smells worse than road kill in the summer sun..obviously only my own opinion, writtten without prejudice, e&e.o, etc, etc...no intention was made to hurt anyone's feelings in posting this opinion, no animals, unicorns, trolls, etc were hurt in the making of this opinion.

@Diana Mond - pot, kettle, black comes to mind.

So how much are the 'consultants' the town council has employed with a remit to access further funding getting? Hopefully not as much as the 'town council' wasted on The Termite!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or the Manor House fiasco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or, or, or, or, or!

If Dawlish was the Titanic and the crew and captain were the Dawlish town council it would have sunk in the harbour before it even started its maiden voyage. Although what do you expect from a bunch who seem to do what THEY want, no matter the damage to the town, traders and ratepayer's...in my opinion...e &e.o.....written without prejudice, etc,etc,etc....no insects, animals, slugs were harmed ...

@Diana Mond - with your past experience on this site i would have to say ur on to a winner with this venture, nice to see you doing something positive for a change.

I would have thought that Dawlish is going to need as many refreshment outlets as possible for the waves of cyclist's that will be using the new cycle path that runs parallel to this possible venture.

Planning application

How is this planning request any more detremental to Dawlish than previous projects that have and have not been passed by our illustrious council(s)! More competition in the town is better for the consumer and, in my opinion, the putting area has always been a bit of an eyesore anyway.
