I don't see how Bob Crow was working class on a salary with benefits of around £145k. What I do see is that he deprived a working class family from having a council property that he would not vacate. Even though he was quite capable of purchasing his own. Double standards if ever I saw it. Council homes were originally developed to assist those who could not afford a home a starting block. ...

Just swapping out one puppet for another because one is no longer flavour of the month has no effect on policy. Policy is determined by those who operate the puppets. Just as in the U.S. you don't become presidante without millions of dollars of donations by multi nationals and the mega rich and if you want donations for the next elections you had better do their bidding.

@warrior - the possible reason for western europe doing better is that they have governing bodies who are not all incompetant fools. only interested in filling their own pocket's at the expense of everyone and everything else!

@neilh - the immigrants who invaded the continent, now called the u.s.a, had no issues with exterminating nearly all the indigineous population. the natives respected the land and only took from it what they needed to survive. are you surprised that they would hesitate to allow israel to resupply from the local american ammo dump/base!

The Lawn

Byelaws that should be abided by on The Lawn should be posted at all entrances. Anyone breaking any of the byelaws should be put in stocks on The Lawn for an hour. Local shops can supply out of date veg, etc for people to throw at them. Oh! the stocks could  be built and supplied by one of the local prisons. Just a thought.

I took a drive up to the Warren and had a walk along the sea wall back towards Dawlish. A beautiful morning to be alive and living in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. Even if we still like to winge a lot down here.
