For over 80yrs people in Weymouth have used pontoons in the sea with never any problems, now the Lib Dem run council have banned there use citing the famous excuse "health and safety".

The fire service has been run down over the years by sucessive goverments trying to penny pinch.Wonder what the outcome would have been if there had been fatalities. Remember folks, before you put the chip pan on phone the fire station to see if they have a full crew available

From dawlish gazette. Lib dem run Teignbridge council has spent £4.7 million pounds on de carbonisation projects and saved £47 thousand pounds after that spend !!. This is the council that love to spend your taxes on vanity projects while increasing rates. Think about that when the elections come up.

Come on boo hoo, give them credit, there still investigating who pooed on the playpark, who may have kicked  a swan when it went for his dog, who burnt down the community buses, the clamp down on ebikes  etc etc, you dont expect them to do everything by 5pm close of play at night

As said before these gulls need to be culled, far too many but dawlish council will have concerns about swan and dog issue but not interested in keeing all cygnets safe from these predators...

Nightmare as lorries and trucks diverted up back roads. Why no traffic lighr process on exeter road.The council person in charge of roads/planning should be sacked for incompetence. Again not a peep from Dawlish or Teignmouth councils about this.

Rosie (petition) Dawson . Remember the manor house replacement bridge petition ?  Petition started by Rosie and kicked into touch once the uproar had died down. Any petition to look as if she is doing something for Dawlish and to keep her name in the local papers as elections loom.

Yes , teignbridge council supports these initiaves as they dont really want to cut the grass during the summer to save money but ratepayers still have to cough up .

Selling off lido, cancellation of teignmouth airshow, this Lib dem council knows how to oversee the destruction of a holiday destination.
