Live in Dawlish and use of my debit card is low but whilst I was in hospital yesterday some cheeky nonce aorder themselves £200 of gear from Argos on line and tried to get some car insurance with it.

Luckily I was informed by my bank because the charge for the Argos purchase put me into my overdraft. I got home yesterday afternoon and contacted the bank and had the charge cancelled and the card stopped. The purchase of the motor insurance was denied which was a positive.

The only place I have been shopping the last couple of weeks is in town and I just thought that if a 'SKIMMER' device is active in Dawlish retail it is better to be fore warned.

It usually means someone has either skimmed your card or taken the details off it front and back. You should be able to narrow it down fairly easily. The other is did you let it out of your sight in hospital. Remember cash is King.
