@Mcjrpc . Agreed, it was done but only a very small section, and if you read my comment up top, it did not make one bit of difference. The whole length from the new bridge at the manor right down to the viaduct, including the walled pool where it enters the sea, needs to be cleared out.

@BB. You will find that the vast majority of people in Dawlish want these events, but when it comes to helping out, they're not interested and it's always left to the same few and I talk from experience, as I volunteer for many things that go on in Dawlish. They want everything for nothing but give nothing in return. Standing by for lots of abuse.
Hi Stephen. Hope you have a lovely time. According to the lifeguards at the Warren, it is nothing to worry about and not what you may think it is. It is completely safe and is just Algae, nothing else . Hope this puts your mind at ease.
That will be a waste of time as people will still cross the road. Putting up signs does not work because we are a nanny state and peoples common sense has since long gone.
More care = Use the crossing which is just a few metres along. It's all about educating people to use the crossing. As I have said previously, you wouldn't walk over a cliff top because there wasn't a fence there to stop you doing it. Same as walking along the sea wall. Common sense tells you not to do it.
I hope the woman is ok but the driver in his mid 80's, should NOT be allowed to drive at that age.
@Lynne What happened to COMMON SENSE? There is a propper CROSSING by the place. Would YOU purposly walk over a cliff top because there wasn't a fence there? Lack of Common sense and decent parenting, along with the Sue Sue Sue society which we have inherited from the USA has ruined this country.
@kenny . No-one has done anything to BB's link. If you read his post, he says about Pasting the link, so it's obvious that he unfortunately doesnt know how to do linked text. Lynne underneath his post has supplied us with a clickable link.
The new plants are looking in a bit of a sorry state. I dont think that they were watered in that well, as by looking at them earlier, they need a damn good soaking.
