Likeablerat, my first option was to have a dedicated new group to focus on the lawn developments made up of equal numbers of residents, traders and Councilors but, as I said previously, this option was not supported by enough of the other Councillors. Some said that we had to give the Town Centre Working Group time to take forward the ideas for the lawn and most Councillors agreed with that ...

We all know the intention of your comment regarding the apostrophe; you are the one who needs to let it lie but apparently can't.

Apostrophes! No need for such a comment in what had been a celebration of a great two days for Dawlish. Only you could do that! And why do you assume that because someone is posting at 22.55 that they have been drinking, do you base this assumption on your own behaviour?

Why is it that only Mrs C has to insert a nasty comment? The other posts were a pleasure to read and I agree, what a fantastic day it has been for Dawlish and one we should all be proud to be part of.

Just spent several hours on the lawn enjoying interesting discussion, watching several of the Airshow acts rehearsing including a fly past by the Red Arrows and a having sociable drink with friends. I think recent events surrounding the carnival do not show Dawlish in a ...

Lynne, thank you so much for this information. I am one of those women affected by the changes so I have found it all really very useful.

The next Council meeting to discuss the CCF bid is on Tuesday 19 August at 7pm. All welcome. Thanks.
