Its a shame TDC cant address the more important issues effecting the borough. Seems to be one rule for some and another for others as in a lot of cases around here.

Here's the official line. Untill the remaining structure is declared safe or made safe nobody is allowed to work on or around it for fear of  futher collapse which may cause personal injury, and result in compensation claims. Apparently the traffic control lights are a better option than someone getting crushed. Depending on who that someone is, I beg to differ

Will this apply at the Langdon holiday camp where convicted criminals live in luxury under the disguise of mental illness, and the protection of the European act of human rights. Think not

Then theres the incident at Dawlish Warren station a couple of months ago. Perhaps you ...

UKIP  it is - Main concern being they wont keep to their policies and will eventually go soft on europe. We need Austrialian type border controls based on no money to deposit, no property to live in, and no family to sponsor you then no way are you coming in. No appeals, no European human rights, and a hunt and deport programme for those already here that shouldnt be. As for Labour and the ...

Its a prison that hides under the term Hospital, and should never have been allowed in Dawlish. Some of the patients in there are dangerous criminals and should not be placed in a holiday resort. Hopefully there will be tighter controls and more staff to deal with them.

Different situation in different parts of the country and depedant upon lots of things. Up north with lots of industry and office based work plus the union influence, bank holidays are usually adhered to quite stricktly. In this region with its cowboy employers, crap wages and rubbish jobs  it seems to be acceptable to work or to be asked to work on a bank holiday. With exeptions like the ...
