Depends on pricing I would have thought. As much as I like Waitrose I'm not sure I would do all my shopping there.

I've never seen any problems in Dawlish with trick or treating and I don't mind the kids coming to my door. It tends to be if you advertise with a pumpkin people will knock and otherwise they won't.
