It's been a tough year for the famous black swans at Dawlish - but within days of Storm Dennis washing the breeding pair's eggs and nest away the nine spirited survivors are nest-building again. So sad the black swans nest and eggs were washed away.

@1263 I did wonder when i drove past today and saw 3 police officers talking to people in the Lawn.

A ‘tourism tax’ to help protect Teignbridge’s coastal areas and make sure facilities keep pace with high visitor numbers could be introduced in time for this summer.
