There has to be 5% self/custom build on all sites within Teignbridge. There are very few flat areas in Dawlish, so the alternative would be a bungalow on top of a garage/entrance. Steps to the front door with a path leading around the back. Basically a flat over a basement garage. This would give you a shallow incline to access the back door and a slope down to the garage beneath. Since this ...
I was confused, so looked up what SUDS actually is, simply it is a system where all rainwater is contained and released at the same rate it would have if no housing was present. In the past rainwater was put directly into the sewage system, therefore why some dwellings are on combined sewers. There are various SUDS types with the simplest being crates covered in a membrane that are put in the ...
I do not know if this was meant to be uploaded, but this appears to be the Redrow viability assessment. The letter that comes before this document on the Planning Portal states that: 'I understand that the contents of our viability assessment will be treated as confidential due to their commercially sensitive nature.' The Viability Assessment has been uploaded and is on this link, so ...
It doesn't matter how wrecked a building is, if people can use old methods to restore fire damaged listed buildings that are a bare shells and unsafe, then this restoration project is achievable and deliverable. It just means that the other housing on site needs to be considered so that the profit from these cover any additional expense which then could be deemed to make the project unviable, ...
Gary you are correct these things cannot be rushed and mitigation needs to be provided for wildlife, which is a problem at Gatehouse with the Cirl Buntings. RSPB are still not happy with what is proposed and so that has to be addressed before the site can progress regardless of the residents et al objecting to the new highways proposals which led to the Development Framework being deferred. ...
Shell cove house The agreed affordable housing payment per unit of off site affordable housing provision required under 14/02780 was £53,000. Totalling £159,000 Affordable Housing s106 payment. With 3 additional dwellings now proposed, the revised total affordable housing payment required would be £212,000 as a proportionate increased in the affordable housing contribution associated with this ...
Let's look at this logically people take the route of least effort. The Langdon site can use the current pedestrian path to the A379 and cross over to take the cycle route to Dawlish Warren. Area 3 could use the proposed valley park, path that will run along beside Shutterton Brook and access at the same point, so like Langdon this will be the most direct route and all pedestrian/cycle paths ...
And I just saw a pig fly by!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What other landowners could access Secmaton Lane within the DA2? From my memory of the document handed out at the Leisure Centre all the housing is in a straight line from Sainsburys Roundabout to Gatehouse Farm house, this was the only piece of land that has direct access onto the lane, or am I wrong?
Who could avoid the link road? Can you explain?
