Golden ..ive decided you cant please 'anyone' in Dawlish ..they get more excited on no events, closed pubs and shops! ...why not offer the music to Teignmouth pubs wouldnt you do better?.
Oh dear..perhaps Newton should over see Teignmouth and Dawlish then and have no Council at all in either town..
If Dawlish cant seem to sort itself out ..would it be a good money saving idea if Teignmouth Council were given the task to look after Dawlish affairs!?
Well I dont know who's who in the shop. but ..the woman I refer to is a blonde with glasses and doesnt smile at anyone!!!!!!!!!! ...I noticed too she is 'sharp' with staff members.
No wonder Dawlish reputation is going downhill with owners like that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I had friends visit Dawlish today and we had a lovely day in town, by the river, sea and shops and a lovely cream tea! Called in at 'Presents' in The Strand..very impressed with the variety of gifts at reasonable prices, cards and of course lovely Thorntons Ice Cream... BUT ..when we went to pay for some gifts we were greeted by a very sour and unfriendly member of staff with long blonde hair, ...
007 I agree. Would help if you sign a form when you take a job saying... 'I understand if I strike / refuse to work I may have my employment terrminated' ...simple ..plenty want a job!
Its good there is no football there and it always looks a welcoming pub. You have to remember Golden you are up against a negative town ..I really cant work out why this is...it does not happen in other towns. I'm sure people on holiday who like Dawlish will enjoy the special evenings.
Wouldn't you think people would learn from history. A strike has never been a gain to anyone..seems to be always jumped up Unions leaders in their 20's that push for them...of course they know no better and the sheep follow! Can you imagine self employed people and small business /shops going on strike coz you dont have enough money coming in lol.
007 ..Tesco are already in Dawlish... they own One Stop.. Settle down now Sainsburys will open soon and I cant see why Dawlish should be the only town in the country with no big store...other towns survive, Crediton panicked when Tesco opened and they have Morrisons too, the town is doing ok because people dont stear clear of it, they have to go through the town as you do Dawlish. as for LIDL ...
