Anyone else see that lovely crescent moon in the western sky this evening with the two bright stars shining close by it? Actually I don't think they are stars I think they are the planets Venus and Jupiter, with Venus being the brighter of the two. Beautiful.

I think they should get paid the same/have the same benefits as, other pensioners*. (see bottom of this posting). So, for example, women (and yes some men fall into this category as well) who have not gone out to work but have stayed at home to look after children and who in my opinion have worked should not be discriminated against in old age because they haven't been out in the workplace ...

The price of alcohol will cost more proportionately the less income people have. So, people on fixed incomes, like pensioners, will be some of the most adversely affected I would have thought.
