and this is an objection from a resident who lives Shutterton Lane way. "I strongly object to this proposal as I did with the Barratts development, and it probably won't be listened too. But as was predicted with the early plan shutterton lane has now become a rat run from Dawlish warren to Sainsbury's. We have noticed a large increase in traffic on a very narrow lane with ...
Really? Yes, really, some of us do.
The number of sellers at the Thursday afternoon b/fair varies according to the weather and where we are in the holiday season. This particular bootfair (and its new sister on a Tuesday afternoon) only runs from last week May/first week June through to end of September (weather allowing). Given that both are held mid week and given where they are located it seems to me that their target ...
Do you know it went through my mind only today to ask how your move to Dawlish was coming along. Now we know. Are you saying that all the solicitors at the firm are going on holiday all at the same time and that the firm is closing down for two weeks or is it just the solicitor dealing with your house/business purchase who is on holiday for two weeks?
"you may find that they would invite you to join the planning committee so to elleviate issues in the future". Wouldn't FredBasset need to be elected as a councillor first of all and then see if s/he could get themselves a seat on the planning committee?
Popped into Ten Green Bottles yesteday as I was in the town and hadn't been in before. Picked up a menu - looks very nice. Tried the website given on the menu ( www.thetengreenbottles.co.uk ) but can't find it. Don't know if it is me or if the website is no more. Anyhow as the menu looked so good I thought I'd see what other people who have eaten there think. Here's a link - ...
By the way, same person as organises this Thursday one is also now running another bootfair on Tuesday afternoons (weather allowing of course) further along Warren Road by Langstone Cliff Hotel in the field where the Sunday morning bootfair used to be held. . Official times are 3pm-6pm (but I know what time I'll be there!)
All this talk of boot fairs reminds me that I'm presently looking for a couple of small tables (as in 'nest of' size). Not at all urgent. An 'as and when I find it' buy. So just thought that a regular look in the auction house might not go amiss. Anyone know the times it's open for viewing please.
Love just love just love just love boot fairs. Have to admit though that it sticks in my craw big time when they charge pedestrians 30p entry fee as the bootfair referred to above has been doing since it opened back in circa 2008. Hasn't put me off going though - just annoyed/annoys me. Though I have to say that over the past few weeks they've stopped charging pedestrians 30p and started ...
Do you have a balcony or any kind of outside space? I'm told herbs and veg can be grown in all sorts of containers in all sorts of places.
