To quote from the Gazette regarding the 5K grant. "Increased costs, entertainers who didn’t show up and several days of bad weather put the event, which costs about £30,000 to run, into the red." Does that mean thay they (Carnival Committee) pay for entertainers in advance and not get any refund for a 'no show'?

Think I shall watch this instead of watching carnival this year.

@webmaster As it is your site, you run it and make the rules, then as this is a free country, if certain others don't like it, then there is nothing to stop them from leaving (their sarcastic remarks won't be missed) and start up their own website discussion forum. Carry on that man.

Do people worry about Blue Flag beaches anymore? I ask as seeing a certain Ad on TV, it seems that it is quite 'twee' to be able to swim with Pigs in the Caribbean, unless those pigs are house trained.

Oh dear, JC with her sarcastic remarks again. Actually, and unfortunately, it is true, as the PC brigade must think about how others feel about it and we (us English) have to respect their human rights and might insult them by celebrating St George's Day on April 23rd.
