Okay, so....... in June of this year a representative of SWW addressed the town council about the Secmaton Lane sewerage issue. I was in the public gallery listening to it all. @Goldenhammerman - i agree with you the bandstand was classier than the current bomb shelter. as to the church with the tall spire. it is not only still there, but i believe it is currently having a very impressive disabled ramp constructed. the church always seems very acftive when ever i go passed.

Well those 'raised speed ramps' on The Strand were as effective at slowing vehicles as most things that happen round here these days. Loads of money for nothing. I don't think you could even trip over them they are so ineffective.

Never seen a trout as big as this in the Brook in the last decade or so. It had to be a good foot + in length. Puts the fish they sell at the farmer's market to shame.
