The project will see the expansion of health and wellbeing facilities at the site as well as the creation of additional clinical rooms. For what it is worth I think the Dawlish Gazette is very Dawlish focussed as its name implies (Dawlish Post though is another matter). I buy the Gazette every week. rarely buy the Express & Echo or Herald Express. I guess that as it is so Dawlish focussed, and has to be produced every week, then it follows that some weeks it may be more interesting than others. @monty - have you thought to ...

Yes, it was an option in 2013 (as you say Option 2 in the report below) - and quite an attractive one given its size, prominence and elevation. The temporary SANGS area within this option site (the tongue shaped plot of land described by Lynne above) has to the best of my knowledge been provided by Redrow - even though it would appear Redrow have already paid Teignbridge to secure permanent ...
Thought this might be of interest. It is an excerpt from the minutes of the Dawlish Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group held 7.6.16. Mrs Pujol is a TDC officer concerned with housing and health. "Mrs Pujol advised that the Government had recently passed the Housing & Planning Act with regulations still to follow. It was suspected to include the definition of starter homes as affordable ...

@Carer , fair play what a brilliant sense of humour you have.
All the best to James in Rio.
After reading the link it would seem the developers handed over nearly half a million pounds to Teignbridge council in 2015 to open up a green area as requested under the SANGS agreement. If this is the case why was there an issue with people moving in to the homes if it was the council who had not set aside the land? From what I have read Redrow had satisfied there side of the agreement. Where ...
DJ is right, of course, about withheld numbers. Even Barton Surgery's calls come up as that.
I agree with what you say, but a squeaky wheel will get oil sooner or later. The email address's for the relevent contacts are listed in this post just keep sending email's or calling the 101 number the police will soon get the idea IF enough people call or send a message if you have problems in your area. Don't let Dawlish go down the toilet, I know some would say that it is already.
Very nice to see them doing well, thanks 4 sharing.
You got me at it, had to read it and agree it is amusing.LynnesLunchbox now Willos. Is mindful still posting on here ?????

OK Poseidon .
DURING my time as a Member of Parliament it has become increasingly apparent to me health and social care provision in rural areas like Teignbridge are not well structured or funded to meet our needs. I pay a huge tribute to those involved in this care who go very much more than the extra mile. I am always pleased to be invited, as I was again this year, to the annual meeting of Volunteering in ...
Did anyone on this thread actually make a FOI request? I would have hoped that if they had, then they'd have shared the outcome with us all.
A TORBAY man stole a car and used it to ram-raid units on an industrial estate in Dawlish a court has been told. It's only been a year since the Red Arrows last displayed at Dawlish... Hopefully the Reds will be back again next year as part of OUR fantastic Carnival.
@Gary Taylor - many thanks for the info.

Love the idea of a no parking bollard, where can I buy one?
It has continued to be raised with Network Rail by Dawlish Town Council (Civic Amenities Committee) and I will report any news as I get it.
I do have concerns about housing being built on grade 1 agricultural land. I also have concerns about housing being built without the necessary infrastructure being in place. I have concerns about not enough Affordable rental Housing (AH= rents of 80% or less of market level) being built. And I have great concerns about the impact of the 2016 Housing and Planning Act and how that will ...
This country unlike other countries does not take litter seriously enough. There should be huge fines, In Singapore you would be in big trouble. Also Wellington in NZ is immaculate.
