Me too Deedoodle! I too walked around town last week in the late afternoon and evenings and saw the usual suspects openly drinking from beer cans, cider bottles etc! Not a plastic or real Bobby in sight to impose the PSPO! Why do we have this problem in Dawlish and other towns do not seem suffer a similar problem?

For what it is worth I think the Dawlish Gazette is very Dawlish focussed as its name implies (Dawlish Post though is another matter). I buy the Gazette every week. rarely buy the Express & Echo or Herald Express. After reading the link it would seem the developers handed over nearly half a million pounds to Teignbridge council in 2015 to open up a green area as requested under the SANGS agreement. If this is the case why was there an issue with people moving in to the homes if it was the council who had not set aside the land? From what I have read Redrow had satisfied there side of the agreement. Where ...

I agree with what you say, but a squeaky wheel will get oil sooner or later. The email address's for the relevent contacts are listed in this post just keep sending email's or calling the 101 number the police will soon get the idea IF enough people call or send a message if you have problems in your area. Don't let Dawlish go down the toilet, I know some would say that it is already.
