Town improvement scheme = make the town poorer scheme. Typical government scheme.

A grieving Devon family has paid tribute to their loving mum after she died last month. They say Marilyn Jones died peacefully in Dawlish at the age of 71. Their tribute is among more than 70 paid to lost loved ones from around Devon this week.

BBC article - Traders launch bid to stop town improvement scheme The traders of Queen Street Newton Abbot do not want the street pedestrianised. It is causing a loss of trade. Why is our MP Martin Wrigley against the traders? His job is to represent his constituents interests and concerns. However he is adamant on ruining their businesses.

Thank you Webmaster. I had noticed that there was something wrong like last time it happened.

STAFF looking after inpatients at Dawlish Community Hospital have been recognised for their work. The team won an Our People Award, given by Torbay and South Devon NHS Trust, for excellent care, service with a smile, kindness and understanding or exceptional service.

Apologies if you are having difficulties connecting or are getting signed out. This is due to a lot of activity crashing some services. I've increased resources so that should help.

Nostalgia was in the air - and a healthy puff of smoke - when a magnificent steam engine headed along the tracks in Devon. Enthusiasts crowded the platform and the evening sun shone on the glorious LMS Black 5 4-6-0 No 44871 as it chugged through Dawlish Station.
