Currently the U.S. is looking at  a tentative approval of the Pfizer vaccine in the spring/summer of 2021. The U.K. is the first to get a shipment of the Pfizer vaccine and allow the MHRA to rubber stamp it for mass public rollout under emergency authorisation use. This is the first such approval by a goverment of a Western made vaccine. The thing to understand that this has been approved ...

The “vast, vast, vast majority” of eligible people will only be vaccinated in spring 2021, but care home residents are a priority Devon care home providers say they are unable to say when their residents will start being vaccinated, as they are yet to receive any official guidance. Hoping to receive some news soon is Sefton Hall in Dawlish which is one of a 'small number' of Devon care homes ...

@ Epicurus I thought the More On (Moron) guide was very good indeed and brought a smile to my face. The unfortunate thing about it is that it is true. There are  far too many people around who have to be instructed in 'the use of common sense' and always blame someone else for their failures in life. Keep it up.

@Epicurus & @Don Pearson And there was I beginning to think "Can I be arsed anymore?". Praise indeed. Lovely to see both of you making your rare postings on this site. I for one would love to see you post more not least because I do feel a little 'lonely' on here sometimes.

I am bound to say that I am surprised and not a little heartened by the responses to my posts. My somewhat pessimistic expectation was that they would be received with a tirade of abuse. (I like the humour in your second post by the way). That said, hands up, full confession, even Iv’e done a little ranting in my time though you would not need all the fingers of one hand to count the ...

Perhaps we could reanimate the forum with the Marcus Tullius Cicero award for rhetoric. Candidates, anyone?
