We've wasted over four years trying to negotiate with someone who doesn't really want to negotiate.  We should've walked in 2016.

And hasn't Bojo also said something about a No Deal scenario showing a lack of statemanship? (feel sure there's a quote somewhere - if I can find it I'll post it). Addendum: Found it! It's irrelevant, what matters is the outcome of the negotiations over the next four days. but as the EU has today hit the panic button to start contingency plans for no agreement being reached, that looks the likely conclusion.

There now seems to be a dispute over what exactly it was that Boris Johnson meant when, around about this time last year, he referred to having an 'oven ready deal'. Thoughts on this matter anyone?
