Soundss like the Dawlish council is doing the right thing but will TDC listen, or will they just use "elf & safety as an excuse.
Seen on TV today that there are 1,000,000 empty home in the uk , why do we need to build more? What are we going to do when all the good farmland has been built on.
The last project I was involved with there were plans for a doctors surgery, what was built was a parade of shops. More money in the shops than a doctors surgery as I said before developers only look at what is profitable. As for what NHS say there is a big difference between 300 and 2000.Yes I would like to see orchards and allotments but greedy landowners are only interested in the profit they ...
@Lynne perhaps though the additional school and doctors surgery could be built on this land both will be needed when the proposed houses are built. also the projected number for dawlish is 2000 houses but we both know that developers will find ways to increase this number. having been employed by a major house builder i know what pressure they put on councils to get what they want.
Could it be that TDC are planning to build on it?
Sainsburys' other than a few items we do not use the store now, Dawlish co-op still needs to improve but they do seem to be trying.
Or if the shelves have any thing on them, have you tried to buy large skimmed milk. I went in on Friday for 5 items, 3 no stock on the shelf and 2 out of date. And this is not the first time it has happened more than once.
I believe that the laundry down by the library takes in dry cleaning
Birds are doing very well in my garden , but we have not seen the woodpeckers this year. Also no sign of the cirl buntings down the gatehouse end of the lane. Thats not surprising considering the wholesale destruction that is going on down there.
seems that a neighbour has arranged removal of mr mole, so no more damage to my lawn. I am told that it was all carried out by a professional. Rip mr mole
