Dawlish Warren and Dawlish get awarded the blue flag, I wonder who engineered that?
The picture on the front page of the Dawlish Post has answered the question I posed to start this thread. The gentleman looks as if he is on the slippery slope.
Obviously nobody know's what is really going on in this parish.
Does anyone know who replaced the mare of Dawlish for the coming year? And who has been appointed to act in place of, should the mayor fall out of favour?
I cannot get it out of my head the way in which the past mare of Dawlish Rosiland Prowse proclaimed in the Dom Joly show "Complainers", that she didn't work in the Manor, "I am a councillor", coming across as to work in the Manor, was well below her station.
Probably when the legal niceties are sorted out. Don't forget, we live in a nanny state and we wouldn't want an accident on the park when it could have been avoided---do we? Insurances cost money and are usually increased annually, or will someone take the risk and not insure on a probability?

I see that the council's mayor (not yours, because you have no say in who the mare will be) will donate all her hats to the Dawlish museum. I am sure all the holiday makers will be so pleased about that!!!
Well Dawlish pillars of society are offering you supermarkets for a start. They are trying to deny you open space. They are attempting to build so many houses that it won't be too far into the future that congestion charging will be brought in.
