Dawlish has one secondary school ( called a college cus it sounds better) a couple of prims a hospital and a communal DS where you need to book for an appointment.
Drugs are not that bad, immigrants both internal and external ones are on the increase. A fair bit of corruption, about 12 watering holestwo bookies an amusement arcade, several charties both visible and invisible. scores of coffee and tea places. little supermarkets where you need more than a cheque book, more like a bank to do your shopping. I am sure others can add more--------in time.

Dawlish is a great place to live, moved here 38 years ago saying it would be for 12 months and we are still here, hard to find somewhere as relaxing and pleasant to live. Brought up a family here and have always felt safe and at ease. Now have a great three bedroom house for sale good quiet area close to junior school, hospital, surgery and senior school not that far away also. Local buses run close by although not far from town if you like a short walk, beach and easy access to Exeter, Torbay, Newton Abbot and moors. Perhaps you would like to get in touch and discuss it further, it really is a good buy

Dawlish can be a bit rough at the best of times especially at night, but thanks to the police presence and local community this has been brought down to a minimum level. Dawlish is a nice town and there is very little trouble to be honest. Hope youhave a nice move
