No Fred, I wouldn't overlook that given I don't like the look of the plans.  It doesn't detail any restrictive covenants, it refers to rights assigned.  Where did you get the information about building restrictions?   Happy to email it if you would like to see it, but as mentioned anyone can get it for £6.   Even so, I thought your point was that TDC is not the registered owner?

Great to see they'll get some use this summer, back in February I thought that might not be on the cards.

I wasn't suggesting that you and Annother46 are one and the same, I was struck by how your own threads indicate bad blood between the Pirates Chest and Rock Pool Cafe.  It was never alluded to on this forum so if your intention was to defend your friends against gossip or rumour elsewhere, you and Annother46 are making it worse by hitting out in similar snide ways.

Has anyone looked at Merlin228's only other thread?  Interesting.

I wonder if they will remain 'on the table' until after the election.

They talk about the North/South divide, what about the West.  The one fast train from Paddington to Plymouth (barely 30 miles more distance) is 3 hours, with the rest running between 3hr 20m - 3hr 40m.   And no motorway beyond Exeter.    Yet the Chancellor giddily proposes HS3 between Manchester and Leeds to reduce the current 49 minute journey!  Not that it'll ever happen Gideon, canny ...

How long the cafe has been there?  Maybe its name has contributed to the confusion.   There doesn't appear to be an official Red Rock at all. http://www.southwestcoastpath.com/media/walk_images/100/808306c2f71189563a830993867a8e11/walk_100.png

If the aerial's pointing towards the back of the town towards Badlake Hill,  I think it's Dawlish Relay, and if it's pointing towards Exmouth it's Stockland Hill.  I may be wrong though.

Margaret, I'm glad you decided to delete the end of your last post as it was an ill disguised and inappropriate swipe at Michael Clayson.   In my opinion he's been a discreet and constructive contributor to this forum and I don't like to see it become a battleground for petty politics.

Fred, if you read my other posts you will know I'm not a fan of the proposals, so suggesting I have a vested interest or a party political bias is grasping at straws. I've got a lot of time for challenges to any 'authority' which is why I checked it out in the first place.  It cost £3 to look at the title plan and another £3 to find out who the registered owner was.   As for the request ...
