Lots of councils across the country are short of money - Conservative controlled Devon County Council being one of them. The councils are short of money for a variety of reasons - a huge drop in funding from central government since 2010, an increase in demand for the services that local government addresses (eg social services, special needs education, homelessness) and inflation.

Due to the lack of service we seem to get from the railways by whoever, why not consider making the track between exeter and plymouth Dartmouth a heritage railway. Using historic steam or desiel engines and refurbished rolling stock. This would bring a  more reliable service for the passegers and a huge tourist attraction, with views that are better than many in existance.Also the ...

When are the libm  dem controlled council going to replace the bridge in the manor park. This has been closed for over a year and we get responses like " were looking into it." This is the council that has spent thousands in making Forde HQ " zero neural" and empolyed a climate change officer at circa £35k a year then tell you there is no money available. This lot are too busy playing politics ...
