Dawlish & District Snooker League held their presentation evening at Shaldon Conservative Club, on Saturday, September 7. TWO Teignbridge beaches have been hit with a sewage alert following unsettled weather over the weekend. Dawlish Town and Teignmouth Holcombe beaches were identified by campaign group, Surfers Against Sewage (SAS), as sewage discharge locations.
Following the weekend's heavy rain, pollution alerts were issued at beaches across Torbay and along Devon's coastline, as South West Water discharged raw sewage into the water. South West Water have issued alerts at Meadfoot St Mary's Bay, Totnes, Holcombe, Dawlish and Exmouth.
