I thought the shops would have made more effort this year, perhaps their waiting for 2013 when the regeneration has been done, but that maybe too late. You only have to watch the local news and see other small towns show how it should be done.
What's happened! The lights in the Strand and the lights over the brook seem to have given up. The shops in the main centre have made less effort than normal, not a Christmas tree in sight if your driving through. Congratulations to the top end of the town who have put the Strand traders to shame.
