I think it's a good thing at least the site will now get cleaned up, It won't look such an eyesore, the children will have to attend school, and their will be some sort of accountability. They will get refuse collection and therefore not need to dump rubbish. As for council tax what about all these people living 11 months of the year in their caravans on Peppermint, Oakcliff, ladysmile etc ...

@Lynne We own rental property in another area that these new rules apply to, I wasn't aware that the rules were different alll around the country so thanks for pointing that out. You would have thought that if property prices fell that people would buy, although I think that most people either can't afford to buy or "feel like" they can't afford to buy. The trouble is a £140,000 house ...

did so well they closed

Hi, Good idea Lynne, The power unit delivered definately wasn't for Sainsbury's, I know someone who was working on the unit that day, also they have worked down their since for half a day, not a lot going on, only one or two people on site at a time.

We have been told the chip shop in Newton abbot is the best around (eat in as well) so we went over yesterday for lunch 9 of us arrived at 2.03pm only to find it had shut, all the staff were inside, they didn't want our business. Maybe we should have stayed here and walked down the warren. We will try the new one next week.

That sounds nice lynne, if we lost all the charity shops in one day the future would be upon us.

Interesting posts = Brook House, maybe the local residents could appeal and ask this amount be back dated Question why was this situation overlooked. Another point, a social housing provider or housing association has to be of charitable status in order to provide social housing.

By Chef thanks for the fish, good luck for the future.
