An update on this from BBC website: Google accused of criminal intent over StreetView data
DM, User4549, How about a temporary ceasefire? Don
In the absence of a reply from Mark, I did some research yesterday. The going rate for residents' parking in London boroughs seems to be up to about £150 p.a. or a little more. In some boroughs this entitles you to park only near your home, in others across the borough. I shall not comment as to whether this is reasonable as I know that each of you will have your own views. FEL-699, Thanks for the post. I hope that I do not come over as mocking. Neither am I trying to convert people to my opinions - if there is any intention common to my posts, it is to try to stimulate readers to question their ideas and beliefs and to continue to think about them rather than set them in stone. Possibly things are different for Crown employees but most people in UK pay their tax in Pounds Sterling rather than dollars. Has the special relationship developed more than the public realises? lol Don
In that case I agree completely. My apologies, Don
The station staff at Teignmouth are incredibly helpful in my experience. In any event, they do not hand out parking tickets. Parking is managed by a private company. Don
Well, PJD and User4549, we may be paranoid and behind the times but have you seen this BBC report about the Street View teams? Google admits wi-fi data collection blunder
