@Clive . If you look at the transcipt of last tuesday`s transport select committee meeting , look at question 67 and mark carne`s answer. incidentally adrian sanders asked some very good questions.
There Is a Interesting news Item on bbcnews.co.uk. In search box type In Devon.
@Lynne . go to google and in the box type transport select committee transcipt. then click on transport committee- uk parliament , it should be the top one and transport committee will appear , then highlight in current work inquiries box Transport winter resilience: rail flooding click on link then click on link to february 25th. .
@Lynne . i have found the transcript for last tuesday transport select committee for resillance for transport in winter. what i did was googled transport select committee transcipts and found it when the answers came up.hope this helps.
@Fred Bassett. It may have escaped your notice but there Is a railway to fix. That was because of storms. Not NR fault. If you want the railway to go inland then that will kill off Dawlish and surronding areas. So for the time being just grin and bear It and then soon everything wil be back to normal.
@Lynne . There is a programme on to-night at 7.15pm on sky channel 504. it`s the transport select committe about winter reslience of the transport system with specific reference to rail flooding. so you know who will be there putting his oar in. it`s until 9.pm. if it repeated i will let you know.
@Clive , @L eatash , @Lynne . Am I right in saying that you think NR are wasting there time doing what they are doing , unless they build a breakwater. this is what Ann-Marie Morris wants.
@Lynne . I totally agree with that comment , so will Anne- Marie Morris our local MP.
@Clive . Why don`t we look on the bright side, NR finish early, or on time, and then the trains can run again. And then everybody will be happy. Hopefully!!
@Michael Clayson. Is there any chance of sending my thanks by e-mail as I can`t get down here yet unfortunatey.
