You may wish to write a message in the "Books of Appreciation" that have been opened in town as a varient on "Books of Condolences"

 

This is an opportunity to express thanks for the amazing work being done, often in awful conditions, to get this vital lifeline for Dawlish re-opened as quickly as possible

 

We will be making the books available for the workers involved to see before they are preserved in the town archives as a tangible reminder of this astonishing period of our collective history

 

You can write messages in the books which are available at the Manor and the Library

I've asked our team at the Council to try and set up an electronic version, in the meantime people are free to email a comment to me on mclay1990@gmail.com and I will add it to the paper version
