Hi - can you get me a new lamp for my LG rear projection TV. They cost a bomb you know, but the Libyian rebels have none either
@Andy Mac . As you have stated on here previously you are a virtual newcomer to town. You therefore have little if any idea about how this big multi-national company has and will in future effect local businesses, jobs and politics. So I suggest you keep your unsolicited comments to yourself. If you believe that such companies do not exploit the young, un-skilled and ethnic minority workforce ...
Roll up, Roll up get your minimum wage job here. Let us know on here if you get one
Well said Steve couldn't agree more. Judging by the queue at Natwest in this morning though it would seem difficult to get this message across to the wealthy residents of Dawlish. There really needs to be a mass boycott of RBS/NATWEST and HALIFAX/LLOYDS TSB. A return to the old system of local Mutual building societies looking after peoples money and futures would seem to be the way forward
Unless these sites submit planning consent to operate as a for profit business and not just a civic amenity they will probably be acting illegally if they do try to charge you. Will have to check this one out
@chinaman There not really Black. The duck warden sprays them with black dye a bit like a spray tan. Any way they've all p***ed off to Cockwood harbour to breed. Either that or they've done the same as the local businesses and packed up and left. No cars = No business ask councillor Prowse a great supportor of Sainsbury's
@Vanguard Your comment dosent really makes sense Your expecting the general public to abide with the law, but saying its OK for the authorities to purposely flaunt the same laws in an effort to raise money by using the Police and other organizations to enforce them. Its perfectly simple really. All roads which are not subject to the national speed limit need a restriction order granted by the ...
Think you may have been dreaming about this one. Barratts have permission to build 61 new homes, but they are only affordable if you can actually afford to buy one. Its ironic really but if the banks and building societies had applied this simple rule of affordability instead of trying to be clever stitching up people with mortgages they have no way of repaying the country may not be in the ...
The official reason from the highways dept will have you wondering just what a state this country is in, if you didn't already know. Here it is " because an increasing number of people are using solicitors and technicalities like incorrect road signs to get off being convicted of speeding and other motoring offenses any wrongly written, proportioned or incorrectly sited signs have to be removed." ...
Not heard any of our Conservative councilors commenting on how the people of Dawlish need a re-cycling center, then again Coastal waste probably don't contribute to party funds unlike a certain supermarket. Perhaps we can use the sally army building that we bought to dump our rubbish as it has no other practical use
