Hi DJ, no, I don't think that's how it works based on what else I looked at, but I do have to say the website is quite ambiguious. Looking at other local Charities, the Snooky Trust doesn't do too bad with an admin rate of 82%. I had quite an educational half hour and I was amazed to see even higher rates than that from one local Charity. Yes, 25k is the point where detailed accounts kick in. ...
Book signing tomorrow night, 25 Oct, at the MARINE TAVERN - 7pm onwards. Bob Chapman will be donating all profits to The Snooky Trust.
Just wanted to share with you all my experience of the mobile butcher who visits the Car Boot on a Wednesday. He's the same guy as last year, excellent quality at fabulous prices. (no I'm not on commission!) Thoroughly recommended. He's there until 3pm today.
Hello fellow Dawlish.com 'ers I desperately need your help. Last Friday my very frail Father experienced a problem at Lloyds Pharmacy and it was only resolved due to the kindness of strangers. Can I please ask if anyone saw my father attempting to pick up a prescription between 1730 and 1815 on Friday just gone to get in touch with me via private message. Many thanks
I don't have the luxury of siblings. Why care for them? Because they gave you everything, worked hard to provide for you and have been a source of love and support all your life. Maybe not every grown up child is not in a position to help but many more chose not to. We are becoming a very selfish society and if we can't show compassion and care to those who gave us life then it's a sad state of ...
10,000? Oh wow. Well that makes it alright then. You can't deny history. Unfortunately for us, Blair/Bush took us into an illegal war. We are, in part, responsible for IS. Whether you like it or not, we have a moral responsibility to help.
We have no concerns re: covents and as for vermin, our cats happily take care of the problem. Chickens have nothing to fear from cats. Your average chicken can easily beat up a cat with no manners.
Again - well done Dawlish! I was driving up Empsons Hill and saw a sign for free range eggs (£1 for half doz). What amazed me was the honesty box! As I keep chickens I didn't need eggs but I did buy 1lb of runner beans for £1! They were soooo fresh and lovely with butter on:) Well done Dawlish for having such an honest and open approach to life. And I can recommend the beans!
I use mine as bin liners. They fit lovely:)
Firstly, back on track. I drove along the a379 from Exeter to Dawlish last night at 9pm. The road was completely clear. Even with a completely clear road, the nature of the bends, pillars and parked cars did not allow me to exceed the speed limit to any kind of excess (no more than +10%). My personal conclusion is that you do not have a speeding problem. You may have incompetent drivers ...
I have just returned from the Wednesday car boot and market where I attended as a trader. I should have known I was about to go the loser when my pitch fee was asked for before I had even unloaded To say it was poorly attended would be an understatement. The traders all looked bored to tears. It was poorly laid out meaning some people didn't even bother to walk up to the end of the row where ...
Brilliant! Thank you so much for the suggestions. Will check them out over the coming weeks x
