Morning all.

Why is it that when you leave an empty bag on your doorstep, the charity(ies) involved leave them behind.

This all adds up to increased costs to them in producing more bags, and tons more plastic in landfill, as the bags are quite useless for anything else.

It's not just the odd occasion but everytime.

Actually they are not necessarily quite useless for anything else.

We had some very dusty building work done in the house a few weeks back and those charity plastic bags came in incredibly handy as dust protectors for cushions and the like. I'd been accumulating them for years just in case they might come in handy at some time - and yes they did!

They are quite strong, just right for disposing of  body parts.
