J3 I have had three go through Gatehouse and last year was the first time that year 6 didnt have a leavers prom when i questioned this with the new head her answer was proms are for adults not children. My children did realy well at Gatehouse but a proportion of the teaching staff under the new head have left i wonder if there is a management problem.
HS2 will save 20 minutes on journeys to Birmingham at a cost of 17.4 billon they should scrap the idea and spend the money on what we already have and improve the system track rolling stock etc.
We are very lucky to live in a place like Dawlish it has its problems but you have to decide whether your glass is half empty or half full. I arrived here in the early 80s completely by chance and made a decision to stay it took me 1 hour to decide and i have been here ever since. At the time i hated where i lived and Dawlish was a breath of fresh air nothing has really changed ok ther are less ...

The senior management team are still in place and i understand one of them is taking over as principal i believe further improvements are on the books and i have every confidence that standards will be maintained if not improved.
FredBassett you are correct and the reason was that they had to show the time they arrived ie on double yellows or at a pay and display bay. I have been visiting Ilfracombe today and there disabled badge holders are time limited in the pay and display around the town centre but have unlimited time in the main car parks. Devon county needs to look at the problem and act accordingly.
Its a shame that the principal is leaving and moving to a new College he certainly has turned D.C.C round.
