Paul you have a very short memory dont you remember the banks getting us in this mess.
Paul Its not that i am against holliday makers its just we pay some of the highest utilities in the country so folk can come here and enjoy themselves. It only seems fair that they make a contribution, i have also paid local tax in Spain and Portugal i wonder if other countries have local tax for camp sites.
Paul i only mentioned campers as in tents and touring caravans thats what applies in France. I paid a set amount per week per person and the money goes to maintain services that tourists use and the locall residents in france provide and pay for.
Why not have a Local Tax on campers as they do in parts of France you just pay your camping fee plus a percentage that goes to the local authority.
Life is very simple if you want to retain services then pay more council tax thats how it is plain and simple.
So the Americans are now having second thoughts i wonder why, in answer to the above if we just let the islamists kill each other we may save ourselves a problem in the future let them get on with it.
The other thing to consider is the savings for not going to war a Tomahawk Cruise Missile costs 1.45 million dollars money that is desperatly needed by the N.H.S Schools etc etc.
