I read this and wondered why TDC are keeping the position of the SANGS under wraps until the completion of the deal. Is it because it is a controversial site and they don't want any aggro from the tax paying public? If they are so convinced they have done a good job on this then why all the secrecy?

I think quite a lot of them are cyclists too.

@Daverc - me too, but knowing my luck the dog would most probably go for me as well.

There is also an article in the Gazette (see bottom page 6) about the the above. The article omits to mention that as well as the 1995 Pensions Act the Conservative/Lib Dem coalition government also passed a Pensions Act in 2011 that speeded up this process even more. I remember writing letters to the press about it at the time and also contacting every woman I knew who would be caught up ...

See the lead story in today's Dawlish Gazette.

I've never yet quite got to the point of smashing a car window to save a dog's life, but it's come pretty close sometimes.

Shame they couldn't find a British based firm to carry out the work rather than one based in the Netherlands. (before MV barks up - I am aware they have offices in the U.K.) Is the '50 year project' to just study the cliff areas between Dawlish and Teignmouth and the line between Newton Abott and Exeter? It seems a lot of time for such a project.

People will never learn until its to late , then when it does happen they are sorry it happened....  dont do it in the first place leave the dog at home if you can........
