POLICE will have the power to act against public drinking and anti-social behaviour in the heart of Dawlish. Signs listing the prohibitions have gone up and the Public Space Protection Order for Dawlish became legislation on Friday. It bans anti-social behaviour such as drinking and rough sleeping, drug taking and littering, with failure to comply with the PSPO being a criminal offence. ...

Toilets are now closed at Sandy Lane car park. Police were called to the Sports Club last night because they caused trouble, the club will stay closed until they have been removed.

About 30 to 40 caravans on there this morning. Already a real mess with rubbish. Sooner they get moved on the better. keep everything locked up, you've been warned.

DJ is right, of course, about withheld numbers.  Even Barton Surgery's calls come up as that.

I agree with what you say, but a squeaky wheel will get oil sooner or later. The email address's for the relevent contacts are listed in this post just keep sending email's or calling the 101 number the police will soon get the idea IF enough people call or send a message if you have problems in your area. Don't let Dawlish go down the toilet, I know some would say that it is already.

@ZIGGY - the only problem with notice's that tell people not to do something, is that those it is aimed at do not acknowledged them. feet on the street is the only sure way to enforce these issues do not go unpunished although there is little chance of that happening.
