Busy catching up with the news, I see that one that surprisingly slipped through the net on here is the praise that Wally Protheroe has received for raising over £2000 for charity. I quote: Retired Mayor of Dawlish Wally Protheroe has been praised by a charity for raising more than £2,000. Cllr Protheroe nominated The Helen Foundation as his charity of choice for his year of office. Set up in ...
I see that Great Uncle Bulgaria and Bungo are helping us to clear our beaches of rubbish. TDC staff teamed up with the Wombles to promote the campaign which started yesterday and will run until the end of June. Is anybody who posts on here going to be giving a helping hand down at Dawlish Warren, or are we all Orinoco's?

You obviously have never heard of the "Campbell Collaboration" and are unaware of their prejudices. According to the Home Office, the provisional budget for all UK police forces in 2010/11 is £4.8 billion. While the police spend that money on many useful and necessary activities, they also waste a considerable amount of that money placating the public (bobbies walking the beat, for instance). ...
Looks like you're wrong User4549. B.Connett is far funnier than I! Mallorca was great - record temperatures for May - 37C a couple of days ago! We didn't make it to Alaro, it's too far from our pool I'm afraid.
A dental technician, hoping to sell his home in Devon in an online raffle, has delayed the draw until July. Stephen Sickelmore, 49, and his wife, Caroline, are raffling their seaside home in the hope of raising the £490,000 it was originally on the market for. Tickets cost £25 each, and the winner will also get other benefits including their stamp duty paid, legal fees and a contribution towards ...
Is Teignbridge DC not our Council? Oh silly me, I forgot that the Electoral Commission has moved us to North Yorkshire...
