RNLI Take On Beach Safety

HALF-TERM beach safety at Teignmouth and Dawlish now is the hands of RNLI lifeguard teams.
The charity is now providing safety cover at Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren after the service was handed over by Teignbridge Council in March.
Teams started on Saturday and are to patrol each beach every day from 10am until 6pm during the half-term school holiday.
The lifeguards will patrol the beaches on weekends until Saturday, July 4, after that the teams will patrol seven days a week until Sunday, September 6.
The RNLI protects 92 beaches in the South West.
