My son and his girlfriend are desperate to have their own place but what it available is far to expensive. I am not sure suppose it would mean getting in touch with the National Craft Guild and contacting all local crafts people it was just a thought.It would be great to have local crafts for sale as all the gift shops sell stuff made abroad. Given enough advertising I am sure it would attract a lot of people. I know Powderham sell some local crafts but they take a hugh profit for themselves

If Dawlish had a "proper" supermarket shoppers would come from surrounding villages and of course they would look round the town walk along the beach etc. The majority of shops in town do not rely on people who go to supermarkets to do their bulk buying

A craft center is a good idea there are lots of goverment grants for things like this.

of course Dawlish needs more housing the population is expanding we all have children who have their children. there are a lot of empty properties that have been for years the church owns a derelict building in a large plot of land I dont know the name of the road but its pass the Swan on the way to Ashcombe its about time the council stop saying yes to builders who convert houses to flats and ...

All you have to do is contact the land registery by law they have to disclose who owns any building if they are requested to

Tesco is probably open in Bradford or Leeds if your Karl Marx you should want them open everywhere as you dont believe in the concept of Christmas I know cause I read your autobiography

Ihave lived in Dawlish all my life I have never heard of Dads I would like to know who started it. I go to Tescos once a week in Newton Abbot even with petrol cost spend less than I would in the co-op I then go for a look around the town.Dawlish wouldnt suffer by having a superstore.
