I see in today's Herald Express that regular law-breaker Peter Harry has once again cost the law-abiding taxpayers a fortune. I bet the codger is dead proud of himself.

There's your answer Dawlishdame. He will never admit to being wrong - it's an unfortunate trait in many of his generation. And as for the irony of the fairytale spreading, libelous **** daring to ask others for evidence to back up their claims, well it's probably gone straight over the head of the saddo.

Who exactly are the so-called campaign group "Railfuture Devon and Cornwall"? that are referred to in the news story on the home page of this website? Looking at their website, these loonies who want to close the coastal line through Dawlish consist of just two people. Sounds to me like they're yet another pair of single-issue busybodies - much like the anti-CCTV loons. Quite why this rag-tag ...

TRANSPORT campaigners have called for an alternative to the Westcountry's vulnerable coastal rail track after the Government's warning on rising sea levels. Train journeys past the crumbling Dawlish sea wall in South Devon on the region's mainline are routinely blighted by extreme storms and high tides. Following predictions that sea levels in the Westcountry could rise by 40cm (16in) by the ...

From the police website CLICK HERE: Police in Dawlish are appealing for witnesses to an incident, which occurred close to a children’s play park in the town between 8.30 and 9.00 p.m. on Tuesday 16 June 2009. Viaduct seems to be protesting too much. You haven't got something that you're ashamed of have you? For the record, this is a police matter, not gossip. And the hypocrisy of Viaduct claiming that others are scare-mongerers is hilarious. He obviously can't remember any of his previous lies that he's posted on here. Dawlishdame - he'll never admit he's wrong so don't hold your breath.

I hope you will all want to join me in passing on our condolences to the family of Brian Heath, chairman of the Dawlish Carnival. Brian sadly passed away at the weekend.

LOVING tributes have been paid to the chairman of one of Devon's biggest summer festivals after he lost his battle with cancer. Dawlish Carnival Committee chairman Brian Heath, of Upper Longlands, died in Dawlish Hospital on Sunday aged 68. Affectionately known as 'grandad' to carnival royalty, Mr Heath played a key role in putting on the carnival's air show which draws thousands of visitors to ...

After gruelling research, I'm pleased to announce that the establishment that serves the Dawlish Chip Of the Year for 2009 is: Model Fish Cafe. Well done to them for delivering a chip that has consistent 'bite' on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. Honourable mentions go to the two runners-up: The chippy at Hazlewood Park, Dawlish Warren for cooking the best accompanying fish in town. ...
