I didn't see it officer.
In a nut shell the accident was a bloke in a skoda yeti driving into the back of a stationery double decker bus. One of the largest rears of a vehicle that navigates our roads !
Good for you Leatash for taking the time and making efforts to help someone. Unfortunately your energy was wasted on that person who is an idiot on two accounts. Firstly for dumping the statements like that, which may be forgiveable under some circumstances, but also for abusing you which is completely unforgiveable. I believe (or certainly hope) that this will not deter you from doing further ...
Or to put it another way. Man is man's biggest enemy not the road.
@leatash - how wise you are - the answer to eradicating all rtc's, injuries and fatalities on our road's, stop drivers driving on the roads.
Only drivers make it dangerous not the road.
What doesn't make sense? That's it dangerous there irrespective of the road markings? I can see that and have been overtaken by numerous cars who can't wait for the bus to pull out and are annoyed at me for not overtaking. It was never a problem before and I've never seen a bus unable to pull out. You can paint what you like on the road, it changes nothing.
I took the details on the statements found a phone number for the owner and phoned them thinking they may have been disposed of by mistake the reply i had on the phone "who the f**** are you to tell me what i should do now f***** off and mind your own bussiness" so i hope some unscrupulous person takes that info and clears his account.
The above makes no sense are there not echelons in the road at that particular place plus if you choose to overtake you do so blind a little patience is required if you are behind a bus and the idea of that road layout is to slow down traffic.
Is this at the bus stop that was originally off road and they put it back on the road? That's been an accident waiting to happen.
