I agree that Taylors is an excellent establishment and deserves to do well. We popped into Tummy Yum Yums on Sunday for a quick light lunch and can't praise the staff, service and food high enough. Like most reading this thread (I would imagine), I don't understand why Mark is getting so hot and bothered. I've just gone onto thetrainline.com website. I've had nothing but good friendly service and quality every time that I've been in Cafe No.1 - and I speak as a regular in there. You must have caught the owner on a bad day - though that's no excuse because in the world of customer service there should be no such thing as a bad day.

Go for it. These selfish pigs deserve all the punishment they get (or should get).

Is it true that this is going to be knocked down and turned into apartments? What with Lee's Bar soon to disappear, that would leave the Welcome Inn, Boathouse and the Mount Pleasant as the only pubs in the Warren.

Why don't Sainsbury's just hurry up and start building? Or is that too simplistic?
