A south Devon resort’s tourist information centre has had to close after being hit by vandals. Damage to the facility at Dawlish is estimated to be around £5,000 and it will remain closed until repairs are carried out. Police are appealing for any information about Monday’s incident, in which windows and glass doors were smashed, apparently by rocks taken from a nearby flower bed.
