Public pressure has forced a delay in the sale of the Manor House, Dawlish. The Town Council has decided to postpone the sale of the historic building after pressure from the public. Over 100 people attended a meeting at St Gregory the Great Church and cheered when councillors expresses support for continued community use of the building.
Dawlish air show may not take off unless more people and companies come forward with sponsorship. Apparently there is a shortfall of around £30,000 for the air show and carnival week. Dawlish carnival week attracts thousands of people into the town.

Police are searching for a man who approached a young girl close to a play park in Dawlish. The incident occurred between 8.30pm and 9pm on Tuesday June 16th.
