A 33-year-old mother of two from Dawlish was killed when her Honda car was in collision with a Ford Mondeo in Sannerville Way Exminster on Thursday. Police have arrested the driver of the Mondeo who is also 33-years-old and local. The man is in a undisclosed hospital being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A Dawlish woman believed to be in her 70's was left badly shaken when she had her car stopped by two youths. One of the young men lay down in front of her car forcing the driver to stop. Two men from Dawlish age 27 and 25 have been arrested on suspicion of stealing a car. A dog handler followed a blue Vauxhall Corsa being driven erratically towards a car park in Newton Abbott at 3.40am yesterday. The passenger tried to walk away but the handler with help from his dog detained the two men until other units arrived. Both men were arrested.
A Dawlish resident thinks Tourists who feed seagulls should be fined. The resident said they had been swooped on when walking along The Brook and had also been 'verbally abused' when remonstrating with someone who was feeding the gulls.
