The left turn at the top of Brunswick is going to be a bit tight for the bigger coaches. Also getting out easily will depend on the road width of the new Strand once finished. A better option would be to do a deal with Network Rail on using their car park at the station once the railway repair work has finished.

Just out of interest did the site manager say who he was working for, only it dosent look like the transformer had anything to do with building industrial units but was an replacement/upgrade unit for Shutterton Ind Estate installed by Western Power.

Are you seeing things? No work happening there, and not likely to be. Teignbridge planners have no intention of enforcing the section 106 agreement refering to this development.

What a load of crap. If granted are the TDC planners going to police the designated area to make sure its users havent just left their car in the car park. Not likely.

Sorry to say this but having visited the new Morrisons in Teignmouth last night, there is no way any shop or store in Dawlish can or will compete with the shopping experience on offer there. It even shows Sainsbury's up for the dump it really is and of course their fuel is 3p cheaper as promised. As for Mr Force's comment "use us or loss us"  its a shame nobody bothered about that when ...

Could only happen in Teignbridge, Council fits none IP65 lighting over a river. Cheap skates.

Not 100% sure but dosent a plan for this already exist somewhere in the system, seem to remember reading about it some years ago. I dont see how the existing line could stay open without Network Rail infrastructure, as the main reason for moving the line inland is to remove the unsustainable cost of keeping it open. The costs of running it as a private concern wouldnt even be feasable for instance ...
