how can sainsburys be the reason the carnival wasn't as good this year,it has been going downhill for the last couple of years,they wasn't open then, if they did give sponsership money that can only be could,ever thought people just cannot afford it?

what happened to the red arrows,not as exciting without them

One of the places which realy surprised me was Deli Delicious on the strand .....one star!!!

Not using the train that often I found myself in the position of getting the train into Exeter and a return to Dawlish, I have to say network rail or whoever is responsible for maintaining the station should hang their heads in shame, from the moment you walk onto the station platform what are you greeted with a decaying signal box which I understand has been like that for the past 10 years or ...

I have to agree with stevej about the current uprisings in the middle east, I have worked out there and seen the poverty, so its not surprising when people start to rebel against these dictators who have hoarded billions away whist their people starve and suffer, after Libya who's next?, with regards to rebellion in the uk now that would be a sight! however I don't think it would ever happen and ...

i understand that the police were out in force at the railway inn beach street.. i wonder if drugs were involved?

when you consider the lawn is the centre piece of the town, how about getting rid of all the alcoholics and drug users that seem to have taken up residence in the shelters, mind you that would probably violate their human rights, also the lawn itself needs investment, and the band stand knock it down and build a decent one, like the one that used to be there.
