i wonder if it is any coincidence that this boringness has coincided with mr sinkersons departure from the forum. he seemed to have his equal share of critics and supporters and did at least stir up some controversial subjects. oh well, lets get back to the supermarkets shall we!!!

be fair though frannie, i dont think bob put his poem on here to win a competition and he never said it was any good. i have read it a couple of times and i am still not sure how much of it is him having a laugh at some of the peoples reactions to his postings. he wasnt that bad and had some fair points.

Thats a very interesting point. I have been thinking that with property prices so high these days, if someone had the funds to buy a suitable premises (i'd imagine well in excess of £500,000) then why would they bother. Buy a smaller premises and live off the remaining interest. But that doesn't solve my wish! I am assuming that it is the property prices that are responsible of the lack of guest ...

the tourist trade although mainly consisting of the summer months, could still be catered for by dawlish in the other months. although not everyones cup of tea, it is a very attractive place for train enthusiasts, great for walkers, bird enthusiasts to name but three.
