I agree about the awards from 20 years ago, but think the food is very good although slightly dearer, but then you get what you pay for. The best thing though is a great pint.

I was born here, I live here, know how lovely the town is. AND I shop locally. I do agree Dawlish needs tourist to survive but I also agree Dawlish is becoming to commercial and is at risk at becoming tacky.
